
Apple is constantly thinking about the future of its products. Reflections the subject of several patents. The render showing Apple Pencil integration with the MacBook isn’t new, but it was recently updated, Patently Apple notes. In the various layouts, we can see the Apple Pencil stored in a place just above the keyboard, rather than the function keys. This is where the system gets ingenious.
When the pen is put away, it will replace the function keys thanks to the advanced lighting system. Thus, the shortcuts will be displayed directly on the pen.
When we talk about a stylus this means a touch screen. Today, Windows hybrid laptops seem to have found their audience. Many computer manufacturers have taken the step of the touch screen. Apple never offered this type of screen on its MacBooks, preferring to reserve this browsing method for iPads.
Coming back to the MacBook touch with the Apple Pencil, let’s not forget that these are just patents and that this kind of product may never see the light of day. One could also imagine that this type of hardware would be useful in an educational context, an area in which Apple is very present, both with its iPads and MacBooks.
