Activision had previously announced that Modern Warfare 2 ( Call Of Duty Game ) would be released on October 28. In addition, the revealed video clip gave a quick glimpse of some of the characters and perhaps the cover, new news is back about when one of the most famous electronic games will be presented.
Reports indicate that the game may be available on Steam. The official Steam Twitter account retweeted the video from the Call of Duty Twitter account using the eyes emoji. So we can suspect that this means access to the Valve platform for PC players. Note that the game will also be available on Activision Blizzard’s Battle.net, like all other Call of Duty games.
As a reminder, Activision Blizzard officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 earlier this year. The annual franchise will be handled by Infinity Ward this year and will be a sequel to the 2019 reboot. According to sources, early details indicate that Modern Warfare 2 will center around US Special Forces battling a Colombian drug cartel.
This may also be the last annual Call of Duty game as 2023 Call of Duty has been reported to be released in 2024 and the series may not be an annual franchise following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, reports also indicate that Activision Blizzard is committed to keeping the next three Call of Duty games cross-platform.
