Samsung may adjust its strategy on Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatches next time. Engadget reported that both 9to5Google and The Verge reported that the company’s latest Health beta app listed the Galaxy Watch five PRO and Classic unusually.
There’s no mention of the Galaxy Watch five Classic but while the listings don’t necessarily spell the end of the classic, sporty-looking design, it does indicate that Samsung is rethinking its high-end smartwatch. However, what the Galaxy Watch five Pro will look like is not clear yet.

Popular leaker Ice Universe has also hinted that the South Korean company may drop the rotating bezel, and that the wrist may use a light but strong titanium case and scratch-resistant sapphire glass. It can also give a new watch a more refined look even while improving its durability.
Although there is no rumored release date, the Galaxy Watch 4 arrived last August. We’ll see the Watch 5 family arrive in a similar time frame. If so, the Pixel Watch might not be your only option for a Google-backed luxury smartwatch in late summer.
